How To Manage Stress?
Stress affects everyone, almost all the time. Some stress is good, that forces yourself to work harder to learn and must pass the test. Some stress, however, able to control our lives. You always worry, maybe some things you can control? You see a break with friends and family? Here are some memories of what you can do to make you feel better, have time to recover from stress, which can take over our lives.
First, it is important to take time for yourself. Sometimes we are so busy trying to care for others, we lose part of ourselves, forgetting that we ourselves have to be careful with anything. Realizing that taking care of yourself is a good idea is the first step toward a life without stress lowered!
Here is a list of good things you can do:
1) To yourself something nice.
Examples of this are things like “I’m doing a good job taking care of my family,” or “I handled it very well”, etc. It ‘nice to let you know that you’re a good person and that you are managing your life well.
2) Put something in your inspiration mirror. Every time you look in the mirror, you will be able to read and feel inspired. Perhaps this could be just an estimate, or maybe a poem or a list of things that remind you of what truly happy.
3) When you wake in the morning, shower, put on your makeup, clothing, bedding, and do not forget to put the shoes! This may sound stupid, but often simply lounging around the house in pajamas can make a person feel tired and uninspired to do much of anything.
Just take the time to dress and take care of that in the morning helps you feel more confident and ready to begin the day with flying colors!
4) If you want to relax at night, try taking a bubble bath. Candles and relax with your favorite music to add a nice touch!
5) From time to time, enjoy your favorite meal. Cook yourself, or invite you to dinner and enjoy!
6) Relax and watch a movie that you want to watch. I often find myself just to see things that not everyone watches the rest of my family, to name one’s desires. A change is only as good as a rest and enjoys a good movie, I want to see if someone else looks at him with me!
7) Read a book. The time to read something you like, even if it does not say is that training is a great way to relax. Find a quiet place at home, or even to go to the park or library, curl up and read!
Keep a journal. This can be either paper or a journal on another line. Write your feelings, then go back and read it later. Sometimes it is not until we put our concerns to the written words that we understand that we overreacted, or that we are sorry for the things that have little to worry!
Tell yourself that you are going to do something nice like yoga retreats and meditation retreats for you at least once a day.
Marc Platters is expert in providing information related to meditation retreats and would guide in getting yoga teacher training.

How To Manage Negotiations
Do you enjoy confusing your counterpart with facts, figures and “uncontrolled” emotional outbursts? If you plan on building up a long term relationship with your business partner you should forego tactics like these. There are four ways of introducing a more co-operative negotiating technique as taught on a good management course as follows:
Separate person from situation
Negotiations can quickly change from discussions about technical points to conflicts between personalities. If the person responsible is annoyed by the question during negotiation then none of the logical arguments in the world will progress the situation. If you offend someone’s ego, their sense of being right or their values then their negotiating position is more likely to harden.
If you blame someone, criticise them or reject their ideas and suggestions, they will feel attacked and hit back at the same level.
Throughout the full negotiation, try to consider questions in a productive way in order to maintain an affirmative relationship with the other person. Human emotions and fears may hinder the progress, if you are unable to make questions mutual or do not keep the discussions on a technical basis. You would therefore need to change the way you negotiate. Here are some examples taken from a management course:
From formulations like – To a problem solving oriented approach?
You are 5 weeks behind schedule – How can we make up the timing of the project?
You have exceeded your budget – Do you think we have made a mistake with the budget planning?
Your prices are too high – At this price we can no longer compete
Your results are not within the plan – How can we keep to this year’s plan?
Negotiate about interests rather than positions
When negotiating, your partner states their position in order to satisfy their particular basic requirements.
A purchaser demands a particular price because they want to maintain a profitability standard. An employee demands a particular wage because they consider it to be the appropriate value in return for their performance. As soon a you know the interests which lie behind the concrete demands, you can often find other ways of solving problems without necessarily having to give in.
The supplier could react to the request for lower prices with the suggestion of building a team jointly with the purchaser in order to improve the production of components and thereby reduce the costs. Alternatively the supplier could offer a series of joint promotions to encourage sales in order to increase turnover for both sides.
The manager may not be in a position to offer more money to an employee due to budget limitations or company policy. Alternatively they could offer more responsibility, more recognition or other benefits. These alternatives satisfy the employee’s need to feel valued.
Put together a choice of options
If you succeed in making the problem at issue into a problem for both sides then you can bind your counterpart into the problem solving process. a controversial situation can be turned into a co-operative one as soon as you look for different solutions with your partner. Instead of thinking about how much they can get out of you, your business partner will now consider which of the several options is the best. The joint search for and evaluation of solutions enables both sides to work together without either one of them feeling they have given up their previous position.
Use criteria which can be checked
A fourth way of managing to get from battle to co-operation lies in the use of objective criteria for comparison: If your business partner demands a certain price, find out how they arrived at this price, or show them by your calculations that this price makes your product impossible to sell.
If general offers are given, for example, “We will improve our performance”, ask for details of the criteria by which it can be established that what you have been promised has been delivered. It is important not to generalise but to be precise. The more exact you are the more likely the discussion process will be considered ‘fair’. You can further develop your knowledge and skills of dealing with others and negotiating by attending a good negotiation or management course.
